Running day-of check-in
At the venue, staff check participants in by scanning the QR codes they present.

Preparation
- Add reception staff to the event with the RECEPTIONIST role or higher.
- Confirm that reception devices (phones or tablets) can sign in to the management screen and open the scanner.
- Splitting reception into lanes helps prevent congestion.
On the day
- Staff open the scan screen.
- Scan each participant's QR code.
- The entry status updates to "CHECKED_IN" automatically.
Common issues and how to handle them
- A participant cannot show their QR code — search for them by name and check them in manually.
- Pending or canceled codes — the status appears when scanned, so agree on handling rules with your reception team in advance.
