About approval-based events
Some events use an approval process, where the organizer reviews each entry before confirming participation.
From application to confirmation
- Register as usual; your status becomes "Pending approval".
- The organizer reviews your application.
- Once approved, your participation is confirmed and you are notified.
Understanding statuses
- Pending — under review by the organizer. Participation is not yet confirmed.
- Confirmed — approved and ready to attend.
- Not approved — your entry was not accepted this time.
Review time varies by event. If your entry is still pending close to the event date, contact the organizer listed on the event page.
